Visit the school at the scheduled time, consult with the person in charge, and receive an application form. Submit the completed application and required documents, and you will be given a date for a diagnostic assessment to determine the student’s current academic level.
A diagnostic assessment is conducted to understand the student’s current academic level and learning characteristics and to develop an appropriate educational plan after admission. The assessment focuses on core subjects such as English and mathematics and, when necessary, uses level-based diagnostic materials provided by S.O.T. The results are used not only to determine admission but also to establish an appropriate learning level and individualized pace for the student.
A parent interview is conducted based on the submitted documents and diagnostic assessment results. During the interview, we review the student’s learning experiences and characteristics, home life, and educational needs, and explain our educational approach and curriculum. We also discuss how the parents and school can work together to support the student’s successful school life.
Through an individual interview, we learn about the student’s thoughts on school life, desire to enroll, and learning and personal characteristics. Along with the diagnostic assessment results, we consider the student’s ability to adapt to school life and educational needs to determine whether our learning environment is a suitable fit.
The admission decision is based on a comprehensive review of the submitted documents, diagnostic assessment, parent interview, and student interview. Students who are admitted and their parents are notified individually and provided with information about registration documents, the enrollment process, and school life.
